⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is a very challenging topic so just broaching it deserves credit. I can’t say I agree with everything the author puts forward … Still, he did make me think and take a more skeptical view of reality … challenging ideas and concepts that would otherwise take root inside me.

When it comes to content, this book is well-researched and fairly solid. There could be more references, of course, though it’s doubtful that they would convince anyone who isn’t already versed somewhat in this kind of thinking. The personal experiences of the author complement the more scientific approach to the topic, making his points more relatable and easier to adopt.

As for style, the author’s writing is straightforward to follow and “spicy” enough to keep the reader interested until the very end. If the book were another 100 screens long (I read it on a phone), I wouldn’t have minded. You can tell that this person has a good command of language and knows how to write captivating passages, without getting lost in tangents.

Some of the ideas put forward, like how you can achieve immortality, are a bit ambitious. Although he leaves the reader little doubt about the feasibility of his claims, it’s a bit of a stretch that the average person would indeed manage to maintain consciousness beyond death, unless of course they are already on this path and have plenty of years to practice.

Although I have a hard time finishing books that don’t lure me in within the first 100 screens or so, this one was not a problem, despite my limited reading time. If you are interested in this sort of topic and have outgrown the infantile obsessions that accompany this topic, this book may be a good asset for you.

Even if you are new to this subject and have an open mind (and a willingness to change your view on certain matters), you have a lot to gain from it. Even if you don’t become immortal, at least you’ll limit your wasted energy on things that don’t serve you and gain a better perspective of the world and your place in it.
