Very nice article - and to add some history: The US Navy took control of all the radio patents during WW I which allowed the (even back then) Rockefeller/Military/Government cartel control of the radio industry. Navy officials met with the General Electric Company in 1919 and formed the Radio Corporation of America (RCA). Even in these early days of radio the Rockefeller Foundation (via a grant to the American Federation of Musicians) tried to institute A = 440 Hz for all radio broadcasts (casting of spells broadly) however at that time most of the radio shows were live & many of the conductors would not tune their orchestras out of the A = 432 Hz so as not to "impair" Bach or Beethoven.
