It's interesting, I have always had to busy my hands to retain and learn new information. It also definitely brings me peace.

Right on! I'm not Italian, but people sometimes think I am when I talk with my hands, which I do a lot, LOL.

Hmmm, does that help you understand yourself better? Or maybe it's an interpretive hand dance πŸ˜‚

Good musings. I've never understood myself, LOL, so no to the first. Maybe a tentative yes to the second?

I love the idea of trying to convey something that way. My roommate is rather deaf so sometimes I tease about using interpretive dance to get my meaning across πŸ˜‚

Today and for the next couple of days I'm stacking 6 cubic metres of wood for winter, then I have a pile more to chainsaw and split. Doing stuff with my hands is my salvation. Weaving, gardening, building geodesic structures, strimming the quinta (small-holding), even pulling brambles (spiky bastards) ... and even on a bad day such activity helps me to feel good.

That's awesome, Joshua. Reminds me of when I lived in the high desert and spent a lot more time time doing stuff outdoors ...

Well sol. As we look back How many great thinkers have been highly underrated ?and not embraced until later on and we say wow this person really had a cool way to look at life !

The modern day so called influencers.

With talk shows and books deals. To me are all tainted , sellout if I may use that phrase .and not Always intentional

They do believe in there work.

I think what it is for me when the masses have deemed a great thinker and I am being told they are a great thinker and look how popular they may be. I tend to not look much further.

Einstein , instead of LarsonπŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

In my view Sol.

You have created things and ideas to question where and who we are and to and how to become one with yourself and find one’s inner power and bliss.

100%!! Working with hands is equivalent to meditation in my book. I’ve always loved knitting, drawing, sewing etc….

The act itself is peaceful and pleasurable and then you have a product to sell, functional item to use or a piece of art to enjoy after. WIN WIN!!! ❀️

I go back and listen to Thoreau and . We

Can make life as simple as we

Choose .

I’m glad your mention him and his

Thoughts in his writings really bring things into a very different simple perspective .

And your writings as well. Brings the

Power to the reader not the ego of the writer

One thing that I have mostly done through out my life is work with my hands from auto Machanic to building homes to cultivating, farming πŸŽ„

Today I work with medicinal plants and I choose to hand water instead of automation. So many inventions in today in my view only makes things more convenient , which means more lazy In my view . Sometimes life is simple. And may require some labor !

Sweat

Of your brow. However I find when one accomplishes in there own it is a different satisfaction that you alone did this and it’s yours to own !

When working with one’s hands and getting out of the mind fixation. And be in the moment . Things seem to fall into place. Sometimes just do it and then you can see the Benefit of getting out of your mind . And enjoy this moment..

Love the is

I spent half my life depressed and angry and in mental hospitals .

The vicious looop of allopathic demise.

We possess the power to be amazing .

Most of the time

It’s as simple as how we look at life !

I always feel inspired by your work Sol!
